The Philips Heartstart FR2+ is a portable automated external defibrillator (AED) that operates on battery power. Its robust design and advanced life-saving technology ensure user-friendly operation. The HeartStart FR2+ boasts a simplistic layout, featuring only two buttons: an on/off button located at the top and a shock button situated at the bottom. Furthermore, it is equipped with a display screen that provides access to the patient's ECG, textual instructions, and incident details. The Defibrillation system incorporates an intelligent analysis algorithm capable of detecting heart rhythms and determining the necessity of administering a shock. Additionally, the Smart CPR algorithm can assess whether CPR should be administered prior to defibrillation. The Philips Heartstart FR2 Plus is supplied with electrode pads suitable for both adult and pediatric patients. Philips offers a diverse range of AEDs, including the Heartstart FR3 within the Heartstart FR line of products.
